Improved Data Integrity in SCB Information Entry and New Zero Value Deletion Option
This update introduces two key improvements to ensure better data consistency and control in the SCB Information Entry process:
Automatic Deletion of Orphaned Records:
When an Information Value, Value, or Description is removed from the Information Matrix, the corresponding record in the SCB Information Entry (6083266) table will now be fully deleted instead of being retained with blank fields. This prevents the accumulation of incomplete or misleading data.New “Delete Zero Values” Field:
A new boolean field, Delete Zero Values, has been added to the Information Code List. When this field is set to TRUE, any entry in the Information Matrix with a value of 0 will trigger deletion of the corresponding record in the SCB Information Entry table.
When this field is set to FALSE, any entry in the Information Matrix with a value of 0 will keep the record in the SCB Information Entry table.
This provides users with greater flexibility in managing how zero values are treated during data entry and cleanup.

Import Worksheet
Excel Spreadsheet Generation with Field Validation from Import Template Card
Users can now generate Excel spreadsheets directly from the Import Template Card. The generated spreadsheet will include only the selected fields.

Master Data on Documents
Transfer Master Data from Package No. to Item Tracking Lines on Sales Documents
This enhancement introduces automatic transfer of master data from the Package No. to the Item Tracking Lines on sales documents, significantly improving data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Benefits:
Increased Data Accuracy and Traceability
Automatically populating item tracking lines ensures consistent and error-free information, which is essential for traceability, regulatory compliance, and customer audits.Time Savings and Operational Efficiency
Reduces manual data entry, allowing sales processors to handle more orders with fewer errors and less rework.Improved Documentation and Customer Communication
Ensures accurate tracking data is printed on sales documents, enhancing transparency and building trust—especially in industries where batch or serial tracking is critical.
This update supports smoother workflows and better data integrity across sales processes.
Searching, Marking and Filtering
New prompt for Low Level Code calculation when marking items in hierarchy.
A new setup option has been added to Master Data Information Setup: Prompt for Low Level Code Calculation.. When enabled, users will be prompted to calculate Low Level Code before using the Add Mark to Items in Hierarchy function, ensuring all items are correctly included. The prompt includes a direct link to the setup page, and the field is available with captions and tooltips in both Danish and English.

Improvements
Import Worksheet
Column size extended in import and matrix templates
The Import Template Worksheet, Import Template Card, and Information Matrix have been updated to support 50 columns with each field allowing up to 250 characters. This enhancement improves data handling and consistency for master data users.

Field Length Validation Between Import Template Card and Import Worksheet
To improve data integrity and user experience during data imports, we’ve introduced a new validation mechanism that ensures consistency between field lengths defined in the Import Template Card and the corresponding fields in the Import Worksheet.
What’s New:
Field Length Validation: The system now checks that the maximum length of a field in the Import Template Card does not exceed the allowed length in the Import Worksheet for the corresponding field. The length is also indicated in the header of the field in the Import Template Card.
Improved Error Handling: If a mismatch is detected (e.g., the field in the Template Card is longer than the one in the Worksheet), users will receive a clear and informative error message.
Improved error messaging in Import Worksheet
Error hints now include Primary Key and Master Data field context. Option and Enum field types have updated error messages that are more informative and user-friendly, aligning with the clarity of other field types.

Information Code & Master Data Information Setup
Improved Usability of Information Code List and Master Data Information Setup
This update introduces a dedicated Card Page for each Information Code, along with a refreshed layout and improved field visibility in the Information Code List. Key enhancements include:
New Card Page for focused editing of individual Information Codes.
Updated view of the Master Data Information Setup and Information Code List for better navigation and clarity.
FastTab grouping of related fields by feature, improving layout structure and data entry flow.
.png)
Filtered Table Visibility in Information Code List based on Applicable Master Data
To improve usability and reduce confusion, the Information Code List now only displays tables where Master Data Information is applicable. Previously, all tables were shown regardless of relevance, which could lead to misconfiguration.
.png)
Information Matrix
Filter pane in Information Matrix should display field names from Import Template
The filter pane in the Information Matrix now displays field names from the Import Template instead of generic labels like "Column 1". This enhancement improves clarity and filtering speed for Master Data users.
.png)
Specification on Pages
Enable users to look up Information Values for added MDI fields (1-10) directly from the table
Master data users can now access a lookup or link for each MDI field (1-10) in tables, allowing them to view and select valid information values for a given information code. This enhancement streamlines filtering and improves usability.

Bug Fixes
Information Codes
Fix for incomplete cleanup when deleting Information Codes
Resolved an issue where deleting an Information Code did not remove its setup from Specification on Pages and Master Data on Documents. The fix ensures automatic cleanup and updates related tables to prevent access blocks on previously linked records.
Specification on Pages
Fix for incomplete Specification on Pages and error during field Update in Sales Orders
Resolved two issues in the NO environment:
Only the first Specification on Pages was filled when creating Sales Orders from the Sales Order List.
Running Update Field Value from Specification on Pages triggered an error due to unrecognized option strings.
These fixes ensure consistent behavior across environments and restore expected functionality.
Redesign
Information Codes & Master Data Information Setup
Redesign of value creation control for Information Setup
The "Auto insert information value" setting has been moved from Master Data Information Setup to the Information Code level. A new field, Allow Users to Add Information Values, allows users to specify whether new values can be added per code.
Existing setups inherit the current configuration, while new installations default to FALSE. The original global setting has been removed from Master Data Information Setup.

Redesign of Legacy Master Data Options in Documents Tables
With all customers now upgraded to Business Central version 26.0, the following legacy options have been removed or hidden from the system:
Transfer incomplete Data from Legacy Master Data on Document Table
Purge Outdated Master Data on Documents Records legacy Table
These options were originally provided to support data migration and cleanup during earlier upgrade phases. As they are no longer relevant or in use in version 26.0 and beyond, they have been deprecated to streamline the user interface and reduce confusion.
This change ensures a cleaner experience and reflects the current data architecture in Business Central.
