Release Date: 6. October 2026

Release Summary

This update makes 3PL item tracking more reliable. Lot and serial number quantities now stay in step with what the warehouse actually picks or receives, including over-receipts, several lots on one line, and inbound transfers.

It also fixes item journal lines created through the Warehouse Manager API, and missing origin data on receipts from transfers and sales returns.

Bug Fixes

Correct item tracking quantities for 3PL over-receipts and multi-lot picks

When a 3PL warehouse reported an over-receipt, or picked several lots against the same warehouse line, the item tracking quantities no longer matched what was handled, and posting the warehouse receipt or shipment failed. Each reported lot or serial number now gets its own quantity, and several lots on the same line add up correctly. A new Allow Tracking Deviation setting on the Warehouse Manager Setup page lets the warehouse report a lot or serial number other than the one planned for the line.

A report with no lot or serial number is now placed on the item tracking already assigned to the source line. A report with only part of the required tracking, for example a serial number without its lot number, is rejected.

Why it matters: 3PL receipts and shipments with lots or serial numbers now post without manual corrections to item tracking. Reserved or order-tracked lots are never reduced.

Inbound transfer receipts no longer fail when the 3PL reports the shipped lot or serial number

Receiving an inbound transfer through a 3PL failed when the 3PL reported the lot or serial number that was already in transit, because it was registered a second time. The reported lot or serial number is now matched against what is in transit. A lot or serial number that was not shipped is rejected with a clear error.

Why it matters: 3PLs can now report lot and serial numbers on inbound transfers instead of leaving them out to get the receipt through.

Item, serial and lot numbers saved correctly on item journal inserts through the API

Item journal lines inserted through the Warehouse Manager API with an item number were created with a blank item number, and serial and lot numbers sent in the same call were not saved. All three are now saved on the 3PL Item Journal Buffer page. If Calculate Exp. Qty. (Base) is enabled on the Warehouse Manager Setup page, the expected quantity is now also calculated for these lines. When a call sends both an item number and a GTIN, the GTIN must now match the item, or the call is rejected.

Why it matters: Stock adjustments from the 3PL now land on the right item with the right tracking, and a mismatched GTIN can no longer put a line on the wrong item.

Complete origin data on 3PL receipts from inbound transfers and sales returns

Warehouse Receipts created from an inbound transfer or a sales return order were sent to the 3PL without the origin country, address and expected date. For transfers, the missing country could make the 3PL integration fail. These receipts now send the full origin address, country and expected date.

Why it matters: Receipts from transfers and returns reach the 3PL complete, with no failed runs to re-process by hand.
