Consistent Shipment Date Updates When Inventory Is Insufficient
We’ve fixed a bug in the Assign Quantity function that caused inconsistent shipment dates when there wasn’t enough inventory or supply to fulfill sales orders. Previously, the system would sometimes partially assign quantities and keep the original shipment date, instead of prompting to move the shipment to the next available date. Now, the system will prompt to move the shipment date forward only when the full quantity can be assigned. If full quantity can’t be assigned within the dates of the planning horizon nothing will be assigned nor will shipment date be moved.
