Feature Overview
Favorite Information in FactBox provides quick access to a curated set of specifications directly on the master data card, without opening the full Information Setup page. A FactBox panel appears alongside the item, customer, or vendor card showing only the specifications that have been designated as favourites — making the most important attributes immediately visible at a glance.
The feature has two configuration layers. A Favorite Information record defines a named set (a "favourite group") for a specific table. Within each group, a Favorite Information Setup specifies which Information Codes are included. A separate Favorite User Setup allows individual users to select which favourite group they want to see when they open a card for that table — so different users or roles can have different FactBox configurations without changing global settings.
The FactBox is visible on the Item Card, Customer Card, Vendor Card, and other supported card pages. It shows the current specification values for the configured favourite codes. When a user enables the FactBox, specifications in it can also be edited directly, providing a lightweight alternative to opening the full specification page for records where only a few key attributes need to be reviewed or updated.

Related Features
Favorite Information in FactBox depends on Information Codes — only codes that exist can be added to a favourite group. The values displayed in the FactBox are the same Information Entry records shown on the full Specification Entry (Information Setup) page; the FactBox is a filtered, read-optimised view of the same data. When the FactBox is editable, changes made in it follow the same rules as direct specification entry.
