The Description field in Debt Collection was limited to 80 characters, while the corresponding fields in the Abakion Legal app (general journal lines, customer ledger entries, and G/L entries) allow up to 100 characters. This difference meant that text exceeding 80 characters could be truncated when data was transferred to or from Abakion Legal's own modules.
The field has now been extended to 100 characters across all relevant Debt Collection tables — including journal lines, claim entries, claim entry log, and posted settlement lines — bringing it in line with the Abakion Legal app.
Existing data is not affected, and no data upgrade is required.
