Danske Fragtmænd 3PL Connector

As a Business Central administrator
I want to install and activate the Danske Fragtmænd 3PL Connector
So that I can start a free trial and begin configuring the integration

Setup:

1. Install the Danske Fragtmænd 3PL Connector app.
2. When the role center shows "Danske FragtMænd 3PL Connector has been installed but not yet activated", choose Activate Danske Fragtmænd 3PL Connector now. You can also search for Assisted Setup and run Activate Danske Fraggtmænd 3PL Connector.
3. Enter your Email Address. If you are a partner activating for a client, switch on I am a partner activating this on behalf of a client and enter the Partner Email Address.
4. Choose Activate Trial, then Finish.

Note: Activating the trial also activates Warehouse Manager. Activation does not commit you to a subscription. We recommend testing in a sandbox first.

As a Business Central user
I want to control the "not yet activated" reminder on my role center
So that it doesn't interrupt me before we are ready to activate

Setup:

1. When the reminder appears, choose Remind me in 1 day to postpone it, or Don't show this again to stop it.
2. To activate later, run the assisted setup from Assisted Setup.

Note: The reminder stops on its own once a contact email has been registered during activation.

As a Business Central administrator
I want to install the free Danske Fragtmænd Power Automate app
So that Business Central has the flows that actually exchange data with Danske Fragtmænd

Setup:

1. Open a connector of type Danske Fragt Mænd 3PL and choose Power Automate app.
2. This opens the app's listing on Microsoft AppSource. Install it and configure it as its documentation describes.
3. Copy the flow URLs into the connector (see the user story Enter the Power Automate flow URLs).

Note: Business Central only hands documents to the flows. Without the Power Automate app nothing reaches Danske Fragtmænd.

As a Warehouse Manager
I want to enable Danske Fragtmænd on Warehouse Manager Setup
So that connectors of this type are allowed to send and fetch documents

Setup:

1. Open Warehouse Manager Setup.
2. In the activated-connectors area, switch on Danske FragtMænd.

Note: If the toggle is off, every send or update fails with "DFM Connector is not activated on Warehouse Manager Setup."

As an IT Manager
I want to create a connector with the type Danske Fragt Mænd 3PL
So that the connector card shows the Danske Fragtmænd fields and actions

Setup:

1. From Warehouse Manager Setup, open Connectors and create a new connector with an ID and Description.
2. Set Type to Danske Fragt Mænd 3PL.

Note: Choosing this type sets Manager Type to Warehouse Manager automatically. The groups BC Login Information, DFM Setup and DMF Power Automate Job Queue Setup appear, and the generic Login Information group is hidden.

As an IT Manager
I want to store the Danske Fragtmænd integration user on the connector
So that the Power Automate flows can log in to Danske Fragtmænd

Setup:

1. On the connector, find the DFM Setup group.
2. Enter the Username and Password of the Danske Fragtmænd integration user.
3. Enter the Client ID that Danske Fragtmænd provided.

Note: Username and Password are stored in isolated storage, and the password is masked. Username and Password are required: without them, sending fails with an error naming the missing field. Client is not checked by Business Central, but the flow needs it. Make sure it is filled in.

As an IT Manager
I want to give the flows a Business Central login
So that they can write confirmations and quantities back into Business Central

Setup:

1. Ask your IT department or Azure partner to create an app registration with access to Business Central.
2. On the connector, in BC Login Information, enter the BC Client Id and BC Client Secret.

Note: Both values are required and stored securely. Business Central also automatically sends the flow the tenant, environment name and company, so you don't enter them.

As an IT Manager
I want to point the connector at the flows from the Power Automate app
So that Business Central knows where to send documents and where to request updates

Setup:

1. On the connector, under Power Automate URLs, enter Send WH Shipments and Send WH Receipts.
2. In DMF Power Automate Job Queue Setup, enter URL-Warehouse Shipment Updates and URL-Warehouse Receipts Updates.

Note: The first two URLs are used when a document is sent. The last two are used by the job queue update runs.

As a Logistics Coordinator
I want to set who receives error emails from the flows
So that failed transfers are noticed and handled quickly

Setup:

1. On the connector, fill in Email for Errormessages.
2. Separate multiple recipients with a comma.

Note: The recipients are sent to the flow with every shipment and receipt. The flow sends the emails, not Business Central.

As a Warehouse Manager
I want to link the locations Danske Fragtmænd handles to the connector
So that shipments and receipts for those locations are routed to Danske Fragtmænd

Setup:

1. Open Warehouse Manager Setup → Warehouses (Warehouse Connector Links).
2. Add a line per location, select the Danske Fragtmænd connector in Connector ID, and adjust External ID if needed.

Note: See Connector Setup & Location Linking for details.

As a Warehouse Manager
I want to send outbound shipments to Danske Fragtmænd automatically
So that they can pick and ship without anyone keying in orders twice

Setup:

1. On the connector, switch on Warehouse Shipments under Data To Syncronize, and fill in Send WH Shipments.
2. Create and release a warehouse shipment for a linked location.
3. When the shipment's connector status becomes Ready to Send, Business Central passes the shipment number to the flow immediately.

Note: If Warehouse Shipments is off on the connector, nothing is sent. The handover happens in the background, so check the Integration Activity/Error Log and the error emails if a shipment doesn't arrive.

As a Purchaser
I want to announce inbound receipts to Danske Fragtmænd automatically
So that the warehouse knows what to expect

Setup:

1. On the connector, switch on Warehouse Receipts and fill in Send WH Receipts.
2. Create and release a warehouse receipt for a linked location.
3. When the receipt becomes Ready to Send, the receipt number is passed to the flow.

As an IT Manager
I want to fetch shipment confirmations from Danske Fragtmænd on a schedule
So that shipped quantities reach Business Central without manual work

Setup:

1. Open Job Queue Entries and create a new entry.
2. Set Object Type to Run = Codeunit and choose SCB DFM API Upd WhShipment JQ.
3. In Parameter String, enter the connector ID.
4. Set it to recur (for example every 15 minutes) and set the status to Ready.

Note: If Parameter String is empty, the entry does nothing. Each run gives the flow the time of the most recent shipment update logged for Danske Fragtmænd, so it only fetches newer updates.

As an IT Manager
I want to fetch receipt confirmations from Danske Fragtmænd on a schedule
So that received quantities reach Business Central without manual work

Setup:

1. Create a job queue entry for codeunit SCB DFM API Upd WhReceipt JQ.
2. Enter the connector ID in Parameter String, set a recurrence and set the status to Ready.

Note: This works the same way as shipment updates, but uses the most recent receipt update logged for Danske Fragtmænd.

As a Logistics Coordinator
I want to have confirmed shipments and receipts posted automatically
So that inventory and orders are updated as soon as Danske Fragtmænd confirms

Setup:

1. On the connector, under Functionality, switch on Auto. Post Shipments and/or Auto. Post Receipts.

Note: The setting is passed to the flow on every update run. Test in a sandbox before enabling it in production.

As a Product Manager
I want to expose item data to Danske Fragtmænd
So that the warehouse has correct weights, dimensions, carton and pallet data and barcodes

Setup:

1. On Warehouse Manager Setup, set the Pallet and Package units of measure and the barcode reference type.
2. On each item, maintain gross and net weight, GTIN, the pallet and package units of measure with their dimensions, and item references (barcodes) for those units.
3. Assign an item tracking code if the item is lot- or serial-tracked.

Note: The item API includes the item's lot and serial tracking requirements and when the item was last modified, so the flow can sync only changed items.

As a Warehouse Manager
I want to find out why a document was not transferred
So that I can fix the setup and resend it

Setup:

1. On the connector, open Integration Error Log and Integration Activity Log.
2. Check that Danske FragtMænd is on in Warehouse Manager Setup and that BC Client Id, BC Client Secret, Username and Password are filled in.
3. Reopen and release the document again (or use Send) to make it Ready to Send again.
