New Features
Fee Statement with formatted text and configurable content added to Invoice Controlling (1290)+
From Invoice Creations you can now open the Fee Statement page, where you prepare and print the fee statement for the client. The page contains the fields Heading and Statement, both of which support formatted text, as well as overviews of job ledger entries, work types and employees for the relevant distribution.
You can edit description texts directly in the Work Types and Employees overviews, and you can also edit the Extended Description on individual job ledger entries as long as the invoice has not been posted.
Which report and layout is used for printing is controlled via Fee Layout Name on the invoice creation. The layout code can be set up per client or matter and is automatically transferred to the invoice. In Report Selection — Time Specification you can also configure whether the posting table, work types and employees should be displayed, and control the level of detail via Fee Specification Level.
The fee statement can be printed as a draft from an open invoice creation and as a posted statement from Completed Invoice Creations. By enabling Save Time Report on Posted Invoice in Invoicing Setup, the fee statement is automatically attached as a PDF to the posted invoice.
The Message field on Invoice Creations can now display full text (3325)+
The Message field on the Invoice Creations page previously only showed a short text, and you had to hover over the field to read the full message. This made it difficult to get an overview, especially with longer messages.
It is now possible to click the text to open it in a box where the full message can be read. This makes it easier to get an overview without having to rely on mouse-over.
Bug Fixes
Security ID added to invoice creation lines in Invoice Control (2959)+
Invoice creation lines in Invoice Control were missing a Security ID. This meant that the access control from Allowed Access on the matter was not enforced in Invoice Control, and users without access to a matter could potentially see matter information via the IC overviews.
Security ID is now automatically set on new invoice creation lines based on the associated matter. When Allowed Access is changed on a matter, the security number is automatically synchronised to the associated invoice creation lines and archive log entries.
When updating to this version, an automatic upgrade runs that adds the correct Security ID to all existing invoice creation lines and archive log entries.
Note: Security control does not apply to collect invoices. A user can still create a collective invoice that includes matters that the user does not themselves have access to via Allowed Access.
Error when running the Abakion Setup checklist for demo data has been fixed when the Invoice Controlling app is active (2051)+
When the Abakion Setup checklist was run to create demo data, and the Invoice Controlling app was installed at the same time, an error occurred: "Invoice Controlling Setup L365 does not exist". The error meant that demo cases could not be created.
The cause was that the system tried to look up a default approval group in Invoice Controlling Setup before it had been created. The fix ensures that an empty Default Approval Group is now set if neither the setup nor an employee exists yet. This allows the checklist to run without errors, even when the Invoice Controlling app is active.
The fix is only relevant when creating new solutions with demo data and does not affect existing customer environments.
