Many users have asked to be able to see the summary in minutes, and you can now choose that. In **Abakion Legal Setup** on the **Employees and Time Recording** tab, there is a new field, **Time Summary Unit**, where you choose **Hours** (default) or **Minutes**. The choice applies to all users. Each user can override it in their own **User Setup** via the new field **Time Summary Unit**, where you can choose **Use Standard**, **Always Hours** or **Always Minutes**. The weekly summary still shows both **Total** and **Invoiceable** per day and in total, but now in the selected unit. Hours are shown as before (e.g. 11.67 / 6.67), and minutes are shown as whole minutes (e.g. 700 / 400). The two units are not shown at the same time. Please note that the unit is read when **Time Entries** is opened. If you change the setup, you must close and reopen the page before the change takes effect. --- #### **SharePoint Integration** **More special characters are now preserved in file and folder names when renaming and moving in SharePoint (3810)+** When you rename, move or copy files and folders in the SharePoint integration, the characters **( ) [ ] = { } ; ~ ^ ! @ $** are no longer replaced with an underscore. Only the characters that SharePoint does not allow (**" * : < > ? / \ |**), as well as **# % & +**, are still replaced with an underscore. At the same time, the lookup of existing files and folders has been made robust against special characters. File names containing, for example, parentheses or equals signs therefore no longer cause errors or incorrect matches when the system checks whether a name already exists. **Please note:** The Classic Outlook add-in still removes parentheses and commas from file and folder names and replaces them with an underscore. The change prepares the solution for the new Outlook add-in. --- #### **Sales documents - Invoice, Credit Memo and Draft** **Discount and Total after discount were added below the total on the Time Specification on sales documents (2778)+** The time specification on sales documents previously showed the fee before discount, while the invoice front page showed the amount after discount. The discount was therefore not visible on the **Time Specification**. Below the total, two new lines are now shown: **Discount x %** with the discount amount and **Total after discount**. The lines are shown both at each matter's subtotal and at the total at the bottom. The discount percentage is the effective rate, i.e. the discount relative to the fee before discount. The lines are hidden if the discount is 0, or if **Fee Specification** is not set to **Everything**. On an invoice with only one matter, the matter's subtotal and discount lines are hidden because they are identical to the total at the bottom. The change applies to the standard layout for sales invoices and drafts. The credit memo has no time specification, and customer-specific layouts have not been changed. At the same time, three issues have been fixed. The total at the bottom now uses the document's total fee, whereas currency rounding was previously based only on the last matter. The listing of time entries now uses the matter's effective discount percentage, whereas it previously used the discount from the first sales line with a discount. Matter totals are now calculated correctly when a printout contains several copies or documents. --- **The text Payment ID: on sales invoices, sales credit memos and drafts now follows the document's language (3804)+** The text **PaymentID:** on the payment line on the **sales invoice**, the **sales credit memo** and the **draft** was previously always in Danish, regardless of the language the document was printed in. The text is now translated according to the language selected on the document. In Danish, **BetalingsID:** is shown as before, and in English, **Payment ID:** is shown. The translations are created automatically on upgrade, so the change works without manual setup. If you want a text other than the default text, you can change the translation in the **Dictionary**. --- ### ![Bug Fixes](https://cdn.document360.io/b53c92b4-6b2d-4730-b8fc-fa2e7b107470/Images/Documentation/Group%207.svg) Bug Fixes #### **Case Work** **Document merge to a subfolder gave a technical error when the folder name was over 50 characters – a clear message is now shown (3785)+** When you created a document for a subfolder, e.g. via **document merge**, and the last folder name in the path was longer than 50 characters, you received a technical error message saying that the string length was too large. The message did not tell you which folder was the problem or what the limit is. The 50-character limit for folder names is intentional and is kept, partly because of the synchronization with SharePoint. The length of the folder name is now checked immediately, and if the name is too long, a clear message is shown with the folder name, its length and the maximum length: *The folder name "…" is … characters long. A folder name can be no more than 50 characters.* The check applies everywhere documents are created for a folder, so you get the same message no matter which way you come in. --- **The weekly summary in Time Entries was not updated when Start Time or End Time was changed (3789)+** When you changed **Start Time** or **End Time** on a time entry in **Time Entries**, **Minutes** and **Quantity** on the line were updated immediately, but the **Weekly Summary** still showed the old total until you left the line. The **Weekly Summary** is now updated immediately when you leave **Start Time**, **End Time**, **Minutes** or **Invoiceable Minutes**. This is the same behavior you already know from **Quantity**, **Chargeable Quantity** and **Work Type**. The line is still saved only when you leave it. At the same time, the **Weekly Summary** has been made more robust on new lines without a **Date**, so changes to **Quantity**, **Chargeable Quantity** and **Work Type** can no longer cause an error there. --- #### **Invoicing** **The PDF invoice showed a doubled amount on lines of type Payment when using Post and Send via OIOUBL (3420)+** When an invoice with lines of type **Payment** was sent via OIOUBL using **Post and Send**, the attached PDF showed a doubled amount on those lines. If a payment line had an amount of, for example, 5,000, the PDF showed 10,000. The digital voucher and the OIOUBL file itself were correct all along. The error occurred because the amount on payment lines was temporarily copied into the regular amount fields in connection with sending, so that the OIOUBL sending could handle them. The PDF was generated while both fields were filled in, and the amount was therefore counted twice. The invoice printout has now been fixed so that payment lines only count the amount once. The amounts in the attached PDF are now identical to the digital voucher. The same fix has been made on the **credit memo** and on the **draft printout**, so that they cannot show a doubled amount. Regular printing of invoices is not affected. --- #### **Sales documents - Invoice, Credit Memo and Draft** **The invoice recipient's address on Abakion Legal Standard Invoice and Standard Cr. Memo was too narrow for long company names (3709)+** On the reports **Abakion Legal Standard Invoice** and **Standard Cr. Memo**, the field with the **invoice recipient's address** was too narrow. Long company names were therefore broken across several lines instead of staying on one line. The field has now been made wider, so that long company names and addresses can be on one line. The fix also applies to the draft versions **Standard Inv/Cr Draft**. --- **The VAT amount in DKK was calculated incorrectly on invoices and credit memos in foreign currency (3818)+** On **sales invoices**, **sales credit memos** and **invoice drafts** in foreign currency, the VAT amount was converted to DKK incorrectly. The incorrect amount appeared in the VAT text on the printout. The cause was that the VAT amount was multiplied by the currency factor instead of being divided by it. The conversion has now been fixed. Documents in DKK are not affected by the conversion. --- **The VAT text on invoices, credit memos and invoice drafts showed a VAT base without the øre for very small line amounts (3819)+** On invoices, credit memos and invoice drafts, the VAT text, e.g. "25 % VAT of …", could show a VAT base that was one or more øre too low. This happened when a document contained a line with a very small amount, e.g. DKK 0.01. A document with a total base of DKK 100.11 therefore showed "25 % VAT of 100.10". The cause was that a line with such a small amount produced VAT that was rounded to 0.00. The line's **Amount** and **Amount Including VAT** were therefore identical, and the line was not included in the VAT base in the text. Now the line's VAT rate determines whether the line should be included. Lines with a VAT rate and without reverse charge are included in the base. Lines without VAT and lines with reverse charge are still kept out of the VAT base. The VAT amount itself and the layout of the documents are unchanged. ---
